At least that's my distilled acronym for this "organization".
Anyway these... lets call 'em "people"; are running an anti-Obama ad in North Carolina using the now infamous rant by reverend Wright. The purpose of this ad is to scare potential voters of a specific demographic. For the purposes of simplicity lets call these potential voters the "white" voters. The ad was designed specifically for the North Carolina Gubernatorial race in which two democratic hopefuls, Beth Perdue and Richard Moore; both endorsed Obama. If you see the ad it features reverend Wright and in the background you see an entirely different demographic of people not targeted by the NCGOP. For simple matters we shall call these people "black" people.
The ad was designed to create a sense of fear by association. It was designed to create fear. We've seen this before right..??
Somehow Beth and Richard are associated with this "black" man who is associated with this other "extremist" "black" man who preaches to a whole lot of people of the "black" demographic. This in turn is supposed create a sense of fear and worry. It's supposed to look sort of like a filmed Adolf Hitler rally but with a field of black faces with two white collaborators juxtaposed over the many black faces.
At least this is how i saw it. I could be wrong after all. Maybe i'm putting way too much thought into this stupid ad. I may be making a mountain out of a molehill. Yeah that's it. Let's call the ad for what it is.
Racist.
