The Republican "cut off the nose" strategy.

Is it me or did January 20 2009 seem like a year ago.
 
I am old school dog though not that old of a dog.  Those of you who know me may realize that the only time i speak out of late is because of one thing or another being done that unfairly hinders the progress that the Obama Administration is trying to accomplish.  Surprisingly i've been pretty quiet for a few weeks.
 
I grew up around the addage "let sleeping dogs lie".  This addage applied for a multiple of reasons because waking the "sleeping dog" would only bring about trouble to those who woke it.  I was afraid of the dog because the dog held power over me.  So much so that only disturbing it's sleep would incur it's wrath. 
 
This is how i grew up.  Fearing the dog.
 
But now...i AM the dog!, and though i was definitely not napping I'm wide awake!, and i'm pissed off!!!.
 
Call it seething, chomping at the bit, boiling over; break it all down i'm angry over several issues and i will go into a little detail about some of them through a simple muliple choice quiz i have devised.

Now,
 
  i'm not psychic but if your results to this little survey were similar to mine then you probably think there is some republican obstructionism gaining strength.  The lies that Pox News spreads doesn't help much either but they are after all: a malignant virus in the body of journalism.
 
So i just wanted to offer my opinion in regards to our Presidents' attempts at bipartisanship.
 
We tried to be nice and inclusive but not only did it not work; we got some bad attitudes going on as well.  These people live in a bubble.  They think they are in the majority.  They are wrong.  They think they know something we don't..???
They knew enough to keep the rich rich and the poor, poorer.  And now as the economy crumbles around us and our friends and families lose their jobs and their homes they want us to entrust them with our future and the future of our children..??
 
Screw that!
 
I hope our President will continue to appoint good people into important office...but if the republi-cons don't want to take part then they should sit back and shut up.  If they cannot be part of the solution then they are part of the problem.  old cliches' but that's what makes them cliches'.

Lets fight for this!!  Lets know who is accountable.  As McCain liked to say "you will know their names and i will make them famous my friends..."
 
Fight the good fight!
